EY bursary logins?

EY accounting firm is now inviting students to apply for their bursary for the 2024 academic session. This bursary programme is targeted at South African university students who are studying towards a chartered accounting degree.

EY (previously Ernst & Young) is one of the big four accounting firms in the world, The company provides the following services to companies: tax, advisory, assurance (including financial audit) and consulting services. EY has 700 branches across 150 countries and has its headquarters in London.

ABOUT EY BURSARY

EY will award bursaries to student who are studying towards a Chartered Accounting degree. There are two types of bursaries open for application:

  1. Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary: This covers one or more, or a combination of tuition, accommodation, books and/or meals.
  2. Academic Merit Bursary: This covers a portion of the tuition fees

Once the bursary recipients have completed their qualification, they will be required to work for EY, for the duration of the training contract (for a minimum of 3 years).

ELIGBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be a South African
  • You must have an academic record of a minimum of four A’s, excluding Life Orientation
  • you should be accepted and/or enrolled at a SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) accredited University.
  • You must be studying or registered to study towards a Chartered Accountancy degree qualification (3 to 4 years) and an Accounting Honours/ Certificate in Theory in Accounting (CTA) (1 year)
  • You must have proveen financial need

  • Certified Identification Document
  • Grade 11 and 12 Academic Report/Transcript
  • Motivational Letter
  • Latest Fee Quotation from the University
  • Proof of household income (applicable for Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary applications)

CLOSING DATE

EY stopped collecting applications for the Current University students bursary on 31 October 2023, and the company will stop accepting applications for the Current Matric students bursary on 31 January 2024.
