KPM Bursary application 2024?

KPMG Bursary renewals for 2024 are open. 

Annual renewals of previous bursary contracts may be logged at any time on the bursary management system.  Applying online and providing the required supporting documents noted below are prerequisites for your bursary application or renewal to be considered and processed efficiently.

New KPMG bursary applications

In order to apply for a KPMG Bursary you have to first apply for a training contract. Please click here to apply for a training contract. Bursary contracts are subject to you entering into a learnership (training contract) with KPMG that will start once you have completed your studies at a SAICA-accredited university i.e., obtaining a CTA/PGDA qualification.

You will be required to submit the following documentation for a training contract:

·       Proof of South African Citizenship (Certified ID copy)

·       Full academic history

·       Matric results

·       Updated curriculum vitae

KPMG offers two different types of bursaries:

1.  Pure merit bursary

2.  Merit bursary with financial need

When is it appropriate to apply for this bursary

If you do not          require extensive funding for your studies

If you require some significant funding for your studies without which you could not attend university

What documentation would I need to submit as a university student?

· Identity document of the student

· Certified copy of matric certificate

· Latest academic record

· Proof of registration of the student

· Updated fee statement

What documentation would I need to submit as a matric or grade 11 scholar?

· Identity document of the learner

· Latest term report

· University provisional acceptance letter/agreement – only if in matric

What extra would I need to submit?

Nothing extra

· Payslips for both parents/ guardians.

· 3 months’ bank statements for both parents/guardians.

· Recent utility bill (water and electricity, cell phone, etc)

KPMG reserves the right to solely determine whether you should be awarded the Pure Merit Bursary or the Merit Bursary with Financial Needs and to determine the amount awarded under such bursary. KPMG further reserves the right to solely determine whether you should receive this award in subsequent years and if so the amount thereof, which will depend on the satisfactory progress made by you and the availability of funds to KPMG.
