ABOUT THE RSM EDUCATION TRUST BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED
The RSM Education Trust is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2024 academic year..
Bursaries will be awarded to black female students, for studies in the following fields:
- Accounting (SAICA accredited bachelor’s degree)
- Information Technology (Bachelor of Science Honours)
This bursary opportunity is focused on female candidates pursuing studies within two key fields and hopes to allow them to establish a solid foundation for a prosperous education and life.
MORE ABOUT THE RSM EDUCATION TRUST BURSARY PROGRAMME – EXPENSES COVERED | SELECTION
The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses: tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation (capped amount) and a living allowance (capped amount).
Once the successful candidates have completed their studies, RSM will offer them a training contract within the company.
Once the candidates enter the training contract with RSM, they will be under no obligation to pay any remuneration to the trust.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Bursary Administrator within 4 weeks of the closing date – if you do not receive any feedback by then, please regard your application as unsuccessful.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RSM BURSARY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a female
- You must be Black
- You must have completed Matric
- Accounting students: you must be completing your final year of study towards a SAICA-accredited Bachelor of Accounting degree, in 2022
- Accounting students: you must preferably NOT be signed with another firm
- Information Technology students: must be completing your honours of Bachelor of Science in IT
- You must demonstrate strong academic ability
- You must have proven financial need
