what does rsm education trust bursary 2024 covers?

The bursary will provide cover for academic and other costs related to the pursuit of students professional career. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 4 weeks of the closing date – if you do not receive any feedback by then, please regard your application as unsuccessful.

The RSM Education Trust was established in 2016 by RSM South Africa as the firm’s vehicle to benefit black women in South Africa, through funding their academic and other costs related to the pursuit of their professional career in either Law or Information Technology.

The bursary programme is open to black females only.

Applicants need to meet the following criteria.

Requirements for Information Technology Sciences applicants

  • Black females only
  • Enrolled in 2024 academic year for Honours of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Requirements for Law applicants

  • Black females only
  • Enrolled in 2024 academic year for Honours of Bachelor of Law

The program is designed to empower female candidates pursuing education in these two key fields, helping them establish a strong foundation for their academic and professional journey.

Expenses Covered and Selection Process:

The bursary will cover various expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation (up to a capped amount), and a living allowance (up to a capped amount). Upon completing their studies, successful candidates will be offered a training contract within RSM, and they will not be obligated to pay any remuneration to the trust during this period.
